  • Are you building the product right?

Validation ensures that your product will be usable once it is in its intended environment. For Validation, you should ask the following questions:

  • Are you meeting the operational need?
  • Does this product meet its intended use in the intended environment?
  • Are you building the right product?

These concepts were separated into two process areas to stress both concepts. Both are applicable throughout the product development lifecycle and can be addressed using the same test or activity. The difference between the two can be seen in the purpose of the test or activity. When prototypes are developed to ensure that specific requirements can be addressed, it is an example of a verification practice. When end users are asked to evaluate prototypes to ensure that the product will meet their needs, it is an example of a validation practice.

What is Google Public DNS?

Google Public DNS is a free, global Domain Name System (DNS) resolution service, that you can use as an alternative to your current DNS provider.

To try it out:

  • Configure your network settings to use the IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers or

Günlerdir iPhone için ücretsiz push servisi veren bir yer arıyordum, sonunda buldum.

Bu süreçte ilk olarak yahoo! yu denedim, istediğim kadar başarılı değildi, sonra mail2web denedim onda da diğer e-posta hesaplarını entegre edemiyorsunuz.

2 gün önce sevgili Uğur’un tweet’ ini gördükten sonra hemen ben de atladım, ve Google Sync’i kullanmaya başladım.

Ekrana dokunarak özel bir objeye odaklanma, otomatik beyaz denge ayarı gibi beklenen özellikler iPhone 3GS’de bulunuyor. Yeni iPhone 30 fps VGA video kaydı yeteneğine de sahip. Dahili pusula, Nike+ desteği, 5 saatlik 3G konuşması, 9 saatlik WiFi üzerinden internet kullanımı olanağı sağlayan batarya da yenilikler arasında. Bazı sürprizler de yok değil. Home tuşuna 2-3 saniye basıldığında ses kontrol arayüzü aktif hale geliyor. Bu sayede hem sesli arama yapabiliyor hem de iTunes özelliklerini sesle kontrol edebiliyorsunuz. 16 GB kapasiteli 3GS 199$’a, 32 GB kapasiteli 3GS ise 299$’a satılacak. ABD’de 19 Temmuz’da satışa çıkacak olan bu telefon  Ağustos ayında ise 80 ülkede daha satışa çıkacak. iPhone 3G ise 99$’lık fiyat etiketiyle satışta kalmaya devam edecek.
